Google launches a new console for developers
Google has announced via the Google Code blog, the new "Console API that allows developers to manage all their projects related to the giant's many APIs.
At the same time, Google announced the replacement of APIs "Web Search API" and "Translate API with new API. This replacement will take place over 3 years.
Facebook, Amazon and Zynga becomes partner to help social start-ups
Facebook, Amazon and Zynga have announced their involvement in a fund to assist companies to develop applications and services for the Internet. For these major web players, the future lies in social interaction online.
"In the next five years, there will be an opportunity to rethink an industry so social. Every industry will be fundamentally refocused on people," argued Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's head.

Two new SDK for Bing Maps
A new test environment and development has been made available to developers for 90 days for free access to APIs Bing Maps.

WordPress 3.0 released !!
WordPress 3.0, the thirteenth major release of WordPress and the culmination of half a year of work by 218 contributors, is now available for download.
Theme developers have new APIs that allow them to easily implement custom backgrounds, headers, shortlinks, menus (no more file editing), post types, and taxonomies.
Developers and network admins will appreciate the long-awaited merge of MU and WordPress, creating the new multi-site functionality which makes it possible to run one blog or ten million from the same installation.
