Android 3 arrival
Taiwanese sources close, very close Similarly, hardware manufacturers have confirmed to the local press that Google had assured its partners in the arrival of version 3 of its mobile OS for the month of December.
A new certainly very well received by Acer and LG, two companies officially waiting "Gingerbread" (aka Android 3, see above) to launch their new devices: the famous bars.
Other companies like HTC, Asus, Samsung and Motorola seem to do the same will not seem to use Android 2.2 on these terminals.
These same sources also reveal some interesting figures. A manufacturer must pay 50 $ 60 to use Windows 7 on a shelf, against only 10 for Android.
In projecting a bit, we can expect to see a flowering shelf for the traditional and highly anticipated salonCES Las Vegas.
As for Android 4, it is (already) expected in the second half of 2011.

Gentoo 2010 available
Just a few days after the onset of a demo version of Gentoo 2010 (the date of the tenth anniversary of the Linux distribution), developers of the program made the final version available (which is very close to the incomplete milling submitted last week).
